Cur8 Capital is the investment arm of IslamicFinanceGuru, an FCA-regulated platform through which more than £200M has been invested across real estate, private equity, venture and income. We back operating businesses through our funds, and we are building the product and engineering capability they need.
You will be the first product manager we have hired for our fund partners, starting with a business that serves its customers both online and in person. Its product is yours: how well we know its customers, how we measure what they do, and what we build for them.
You will work alongside the team running the business, with engineers joining you as the work grows.
- Know the customerWork out who they are and what they are trying to do, from talking to them and watching what they do.
- Build the measurement we run onDecide what to instrument and how we define it, so we can see the whole journey and not lose it when a customer moves between channels.
- Own the journeyFrom how customers arrive to whether they come back, including the tools the people serving them use.
- Set the roadmapDecide what we build and in what order, prototype it yourself to show what you mean, then direct the engineers who join you.
- Answer for the resultName the numbers that should move before the work begins, show what happened, and leave the reasoning written down for the person after you.
- Several years in product, including a commercial number you moved and can point at.
- You start with the customer, and you know them rather than guess: you talk to them, watch them, and test what you believe.
- You are as comfortable setting up the measurement as reading it. Given a funnel, you can say where you would dig, what you expect to find, and what you would do about it.
- The judgement to sequence work, and the commercial sense to know what is worth the money.
- Experience holding an agency or a vendor to account, and the confidence to test "that isn't possible" rather than accept it.
- The appetite to build a product function rather than inherit one, with our Head of Product and Engineering behind you on technical direction.
- Fluent at directing AI tools, and clear-eyed with them: when an agent writes the analysis or builds the prototype, you can still catch the fault in it.
- Writing clear enough to convince people who do not think in product terms.
We care more about how you think than the sector you have worked in. If you don't tick every box but you work the way we have described, write to us anyway.
We hire on judgement.
Agents now draft much of the analysis, the spec and the deck, and engineers using them build faster than anyone can decide what they should build. What no agent can do for you is choose what is worth building, change your mind when the data says you were wrong, and stand behind what you decided.
